An Allen's Hummingbird nest from Oceanside California First Clutch Spring 2024

This session introduces you to Olive, a beautiful Allen female and her first clutch of 2024. She has now re-used this nest 6 times. Olive using a window feeder close by and also frequents 2 other feeders on camera. She is an extremely experienced mother and will teach her chicks all they need to know, including survival skills.

🥚December 24th, 2023 - Second egg laid 6:47AM.
🐣January 8th, 2024 - First egg hatches at 10:45.
🐣January 8th, 2024 - Second egg hatches at 4:57PM.
🥳January 10th at 5:00PM winning names are Dawn and Dusk.
🌜January 21st - First night alone on the nest.
✈ January 31st - Fledge Watch begins.
🪹February 4th at 06:30:43AM Dawn fledges the nest.
🪹February 4th at 9:01:41AM Dusk fledges the nest.
